12 Comment(s)Data_SiphonHey! I've been playing your games for a few weeks now and I'm hooked! This is really a comment on all of your games that I've played so far, but I decided to put it on Super Bearland II because its probably my favorite. I love the amount of polish and detail you put into your games, its far more than I ever would expected from freeware on a small niche programing application. You deserve waaayy more recognition for what you've been able to accomplish with this platform. I also appreciate all the Game Grumps and Oneyplays references you put in your games (scream button in Speedrungeon?). Honestly, your games are better than most games I actually pay for! (double honestly, I'd pay for yours...) Thanks!randoIntermediate ProgrammerI can make programs, but I still have trouble here and there. splapoonWait, Wumpus?kantackistanIt's an unlockable minigame! You can get it after playing enough games in Super Bearland.
For Super Bearland II it will appear in the in-game store. You can buy it with Bearer Bonds, which you earn by playing any mode.splapoon
That’s pretty accurate!
Edit: except the fact that the bear land one looks like a mutated beastkantackistanPretty much - based mine more off the TI-99/4A version. It was a bit less cute, a bit more... "monster who hangs out in caves all day".ZypherSo what was super bearland anyway? I never got it. Honestly Impostor's got the right idea... it's much easier to show than tell.randoIntermediate ProgrammerI can make programs, but I still have trouble here and there. Come to me for help, if you like!Programming Strengthbasically, it's a text-based roguelike puzzle game where there is a grid of towns you can visit, each with a person and an object within. now, one of these people or objects is actually a bear, and you don't know which, and if you accidentally talk to or check the bear, you lose. talking to people allows you to get clues on where the bear is and what it's disguised as (most of the time anyway) and searching objects allows you to find items to help finding, trapping and killing the bear. you win if the bear is either trapped or killed.
