Tiny Huge World is a 2.5D platforming game for SmileBASIC 3 that follows the Blockling on a journey to discover the true meaning of creativity. Inspired by the LittleBigPlanet series, you can play and create levels using the built-in level editor, and then share them with other people via local communication or the SmileBASIC servers. The only limit is your imagination. [Rating - RGAR 1] [Game - v1.06]

To play Tiny Huge World, simply run the -RUN file (which should be at the top of the file list). For more information on the game, such as the controls and some extra stuff, read the included INFORMATION file.

In Japan the latest SB3 version is v3.6.3, so the game always stops. Also I got Type mismatch in 2:784. I think it's pretty good though:)

"In Japan the latest SB3 version is v3.6.3, so the game always stops." That is because I assumed all regions had SmileBASIC v3.6.0 as their current SB3 update. I'll fix that in the next version. "Also I got Type mismatch in 2:784." Assuming this only affects Japanese SB3, I don't have a Japanese 3DS, so I can't quite fix it by myself unless somebody could tell me how to fix the error.

Fun fact: Pressing (and spamming) the X button on the RGames logo screen allows you to access a very experimental Splitscreen Multiplayer mode.
splitscreen multiplayer controlsPlayer 1:
  • Circle Pad - Move
  • Right - Jump
Player 2:
  • C-Stick (or Circle Pad Pro) - Move
  • Y - Jump
As I said above, this mode is very experimental, to the point where, for example, the game lags much more than usual. EDIT: The Poppet is still there in Create Mode, but only Player 1 can use it, as Player 2 will just freeze in place.
Did you know: During the "Alpha" phases of Tiny Huge World's development, it was known by 3 names.
  • SmileWorld (Beginning of development -Mid Alpha)
  • The Journey (Late Alpha)
  • Tiny Huge World (Very Late Alpha - Now)
More information about the naming process in v7's INFORMATION file. During Early Alpha (I think), there was something called the Pod. Instead of using sprite-based graphics like the current Puter Menu, the Pod Menu was 3D. Here is a screenshot of the Pod Menu. Pressing A would've taken you to what was called the Moon, which was "replaced" by the My Levels menu when the Puter Menu got its current design in v6.

Moving the DIM X[L%*3],Y[L%*3],Z[L%*3] in line 848 to the line 755 will fix this error.

This error appears to happen on old 3DSs exclusively. My New 2DS has no issues running it at all.

I'm using New3DS, not old3DS. That code which causes this error seems to be used only when EXTFEATURE=0, so I think anyone who doesn't have Advanced Sound Processing Unit will get this error.

oh ok then
hmmMy old 2DS also has the DLC

About Logic Gates... I'm not adding them into Tiny Huge World (3DS). Instead, they're being added into Tiny Huge World 2.

v8 is finally out, and while it doesn't have sharing in the game, it does have a program that can share levels.
added features
  • Player Customization (and eyes)
  • New music tracks

It’s good to see you back with updated stuff. Might as well try it soon!

Ahh shoot. New 3DS only- Well still, it's great to see people working on 3DS still :>

That's only a recommendation. Tiny Huge World can be run on an older 3DS model, but the game will perform worse (already the New 3DS struggles with performance), and if you don't have the Circle Pad Pro you won't be able to have access to some functions in Create Mode.
