Now you can finally find out with Versus Buffalo, the sequel to Virtual Buffalo. Now up to 4 players can compete to see who can keep their virtual pet alive the longest through an onslaught of lightning-fast minigames. Everything is controlled via matching colored buttons, but be careful... Your buttons will keep changing the longer you play! Will you be able to remember which button is which? Your pet is counting on you! Featuring:
  • New Characters, each with their own unique animations!
  • New Minigames!
  • New Graphics for all returning Minigames
  • New Options for customizing your game
  • New Secrets to be discovered...

Instructions:

Supports handheld mode, single Joy Con, and Pro Controller
    Navigate menus with the Analog Sticks or A/B/X/Y buttons
  • Press colored buttons to activate objects with matching colors
  • The Left Stick and Right Stick can also activate colored buttons
  • Press L+R or SL+SR to pause/resume/quit to menu

I know that

SpoilerYep that's all there was this time. Glad you noticed. I can't remember if I activated it or not, but the prequel had one built in where it made the entire pallette turn Gameboy green - including all the buttons. That was the point when I realized I should take it down a notch...

For Virtual, it looks like I removed it completely. But I'm not surprised because it wasn't any fun to begin with. It was a step too far

Haven't played this yet, but from what I saw of it, it seems to be a lot of fun. Looks to be very polished and full of humor.
Sorry, haven't been able to play with my friends yet, and I think I won't be able to for some time. But I'll let you know how it goes when the time comes ;)

No worries, that's perfectly understandable. Luckily it can be played with just one player in a pinch, or a pandemic

I'm thinking something along the lines of this: You submit your idea as a mocked-up screenshot. No words, no descriptions, just a single image communicating entirely through visuals. Then from that single screenshot, I can tell right away if it's a good fit for a rapid-fire, no-tutorial game like Buffalo. And if it's a good fit, it gets added in with a future update.
Still any plans on doing this? I've had an idea for a submission for a while now.

Oh whoops, thanks for reminding me! I'll have to make an official post about it soon, but you can submit your ideas any time. There's no limit to how many you can submit, or any deadline. It's kind of like a suggestion box. All you need to do is post a drawing/screenshot/video/whatever of each Minigame you come up with, without any explanation or words. (I want to see if I can figure the game out immediately the first time I see your mockup, without having to explain the rules. Because then I know it's a good fit for a game that doesn't have tutorials.) Thanks for your interest and I look forward to seeing your ideas!

Holy God this is so cool ...This makes me excited to play SB Switch again

What? That was a demo version? Do you really have to pay for the demo or are you guys talking about sth else? Cause I had to pay for the demo and then pay some more for that ticket thingy so i could download more stuff.

If you have a Japanese eShop account you can download the demo, where you can download 1 project every 8 hours. And you can't upload anything.

What really sucks about the paid version of SB4 is that it's basically the demo but with saving enabled. You have to pay an additional $5 to get additional functionality for whatever dumb reason.

It's not the most elegant solution, I admit it. But I respect what they were going for. Here's hoping the demo gets localized, it'd really increase our audience
