This is a clone of the bullet hell system from undertale. The aim of this project is not to recreate undertale. Instead, I did this to learn how to encapsule attack pattern in data and to create a bullet module to create bullet with different behaviours through data.

Instructions:

Arrows/Circle Pad: move. A: Jump Y: Pause Note: "Cheats" cannot be inputted with circle pad.

Notes:

TODO: -Add a screen to load patterns made by other users. -Add a way to load assets(Music, Sprites) through pattern file. -Add bullets that are destroyed on collition with player(Right now, they pierce the player). -Add documentation for the pattern file. V0.7.5.1 - FIxed lowerdash bug on Smilebasic 3.5.2 V0.7.5 -Added a screen to select a "stage". The stages are stored in the file "__FILES" -Added a help screen. -Added a way to win the game. -Added bullets with variable damage(And healing properties). V0.7.1 -Added menu on the initial screen. -Changed game name to avoid "offensive" word. -Added one attack pattern. -Player move along the platform. V0.7 Release

The cheat is up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A. This is pretty good!

Oh my.. Anticipation is slowed down.. Did I somehow do genocide again, without trying? Am I that horrible?

Wow, this would be so cool if user created patterns could be made, or at least made much easier! Unitale SB anyone? Ahh the good old days. Alas, such an old project is unlikely to get anymore updates. Eitherway, thanks for the memories.

Thanks. I know what you mean but I didn't got time to design a screen to edit the bullet behavior. I tried to find if any game of this kind had a bullet editor but I found that they do their own script to handle those objects. Anyway, currently I can't edit this project... I lost my 3ds and I have to call nintendo someday to unlink my account. I had a backup of all my uncompiled projects in smilebasic server but I didn't generate a key to share them.

I should saythat the newest key, with the pattern "stage select" screen (the one up there) doesnt seem to work properly, when I input the cheat code the game exits. Luckily, I have an older version and that one works just fine, with the tutorial and everything. Maybe I should upload the one I have for other people to play?

If you could put the key, then that would be great. I will post that on the description or the changelog. The stage select doesn't work right because both stages point to the same pattern. I didn't made a second pattern or reuse the sans stage because I changed how the event queue works. I will check unitale to see how it edits the bullets. Maybe I'll do an update when I have the chance.

Neat! The player movement is great Is the game endless?
I’ve found my long-lost twin

-Added a screen to select a "stage". The stages are stored in the file "__FILES"
How do I get to this screen? All the screens I've seen don't let me do that.
