I'm not making anything else right now; I'm sorry. Edit: Site Update 2/5/16 #2:
  • You should be able to see the post button for pms on small devices like the New 3DS
  • User pages change the size of the avatar on smaller screen sizes (helps New 3DS)
Edit2: After doing some research, I can safely say that the new 3DS browser is a pile of garbage. Anyway, you can send PMs on the new 3DS ONLY from user pages. The user search doesn't work when sending a "new" message from your messagebox. The messagebox is also super ugly on the new 3DS, but it still works. Basically what I'm telling you is: don't use a new 3DS. I'm not supporting it.

It's not 2026 yet.

Site update 2/5/16 #3 or whatever Fixed javascript problems with website PMs on new 3DS. You should be able to read, reply, delete, and send new messages now. It's still ugly, but it works. If you use a new 3DS, you can thank TGaming for making me do this. Luckily there was a library made specifically for this (go figure).

In the forum index, can you add a "by" to the last post info? For example: Last post 41 minutes ago in Site Updates by NeatNit. That would make it easy for me to see when a subforum had a new post in it, if I happen to be the last person to post in it. And also generally make it easier to spot changes.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh maybe

Site update 2/5/16 #4 (jeez):
  • Added thread renaming. Users with 2 stars or more can rename threads; go to them if you need your threads renamed
  • Added thread moving. Again, users with 2 stars or more can move threads to different categories.

Edit: Forgot about the double posting protection lol
You also forgot to feed the cat. How would you implement this?

Site update 2/5/16 #5:
  • Added setting to view all popular links on the homepage instead of collapsing them. Disabled by default
  • Admin area on user pages is now collapsed on load
  • Added setting for admins to always show admin area on load
  • Added setting for admins to always show all history (bans, flags, etc.). Disabled by default. You can selectively view all history with ?all=1 (this isn't new)
  • On any page with history (home, users, etc.), you can now add "?bans=1", "?flags=1", or "?users=1" to the URL and it'll filter the history appropriately. Only for admins.
Edit: Added long term solution for view tracking. With the current rate of views, the tracker would become overwhelmed in months. The front page would take forever to load within a year. Instead, I offload and condense views that are older than a month into an archive. This way, total page view counts won't be affected, and I can still keep the popularity system working. I didn't think we'd get this many views, honestly. Also, more page views are kept track of now. I can use these in the future to possibly improve search results.

That's a lot of changes in one day!

Site update 2/7/16:
  • 3 star admins can now delete pages. This cannot be undone; please use caution. The history will give you an admin view for the page, but because of the way it works, you won't actually be able to see the deleted page. Sorry; maybe in the future this can be added.

Site update 2/7/16:
  • Completely reworked login area so it works on more devices and screen sizes.
  • Added links to notifications and messagebox to the login area when you have alerts (when logged in ofc) so they're easier to get to.
  • Changed size of login toggle button (the thing at the bottom left) so it's more of a correct size on small devices.
  • Changed size of notification bubble so it's less intrusive?
Everything was tested on phones, the new 3DS, tablets, and browsers. If it doesn't work, let me know!

Nice! I like the user panel much better.

It's nice to know that the n3DS has been taken into more consideration lately. :3

Everything is n3DS friendly on this site, except the layout of the chat. The tabs are pretty much invisible and the chat entering section can even become inaccessible because it's off the page.

Site update 2/8/16: tl;dr: Chat, messagebox, and category browsing should all look relatively correct on crappy devices like the new 3DS.
  • Augmented chat styling so it works better on crappy devices. You should be able to see more text on smaller devices AND the top bar should be fixed.
  • Changed chat private message button so it's simpler and works on more devices. When creating a room, you can now simply click anywhere outside the pm create dialog and it'll close the dialog.
  • Added some hover effects in chat because everyone likes those, right?
  • Made room coloring consistent for everything (it actually wasn't before... there was like 4 shades of red, blue, green, etc.)
  • Module messages created by you will now be colored distinctly (just like regular messages).
Edit:
  • Made a working fallback for messagebox on crappy devices (read: new 3DS). Messagebox should actually look like a messagebox now.
  • Made a working fallback for program and resource category browsing on crappy devices. It's not exactly correct, but it works.
Tgaming, let me know if the chat works better on the 3DS. It looks good on my end.

It works really well! No longer will I have to deal with hard-to-click categories and out-of-page textboxes! >:3

only thing is the text is kinda small, my little eyes can't take it!I'm near sighted but whatever....

Too small on 3DS? I only changed the text size in chat for the 3DS (and other similarly crappy devices); it shouldn't be smaller for other devices. Unless your device is equally small... maybe an old iphone?

Site update 2/9/16:
  • Added more hover stuff to chat as per the request of a Mr. Pixel
  • Made shrinking chat text optional. It defaults to "on" so that small devices can see more text in chat. Disable the setting to keep the large original size (doesn't affect normal sized devices).

Made shrinking chat text optional
It would be useful to have an option to keep the small UI since my phone's screen is somewhat small, and so it makes it hard to access the chat with a lot of users joined.
