Stupidly big update September 5, 2016:
  • Refactored the submission backend to get ready for the API
  • Moved all submission pages into different folders
  • Changed ALL submissions and requests! This means login, registration, forum posts, forum threads, flagging, comments, pages, settings, banning, badges, polls, voting, promotion, notifications, chat, private messages... everything.
This is entirely a backend change, so you won't see any differences. BUT since everything had to be updated, I might've missed some random feature, so if you find that something doesn't work anymore, please let me know.
Due to my lack of completely understanding this update, I am unaware if this falls into the category of things that are relocated. However, if they're not simply relocated, I think you should know that no query page seems to be working.
That's because they were moved. Try /query/request/user or /query/submit/forum. Also, there's now a place where you can see all submission pages that's kept up to date: smilebasicsource.com/testquery

Ooh... it looks nice. Good job. Can I complain that query denied is WAY TOO EASY to get now?

SEE??? IT WAS EASY!

I said now~ Before... I don't know how the heck anyone was supposed to get it.

Site Update September 5, 2016 (2):
  • Added the /query/request/history API. Now you can request a JSON object of various parts of the history
  • Added the /query/request/messages API. Now you can request a JSON object of your messagebox.
These are only useful if you're making some kind of hacky front end thingy.

Site Update September 18, 2016:
  • Added the /query/submit/chatproxy API. Now you can chat through the query page if you don't have websockets. As always, you can find information about this API through the spec (page 26). Only useful if you're doing some hacky thing.
  • Added half of the high compatibility system. It is not complete for most pages, so I would suggest not using it. When it is complete, you should be able to browse SmileBASIC Source on old devices such as the o3DS (or maybe even older).

Will there be an option in the settings to toggle HCM? Preferably device-specific.

No, you just click that link down there and it'll stay in high compatibility mode on that device forever until you disable it. I cannot use the settings system because it requires that you login AND that you have XHR.

Site Update Late Septemberish: Mostly backend stuff. This only affects the 1337 h4x0r5 out there
  • Changed minichat so it shows more data / is more usable
  • Removed high compatibility mode link until it gets completed
  • Disabled CORS for some things. You should be able to access /query pages now from outside the website (in a browser)
  • CHANGED CHAT MESSAGE ELEMENT TAG. This will probably break quite a few chatJS scripts. Rather than messages being a q with a bunch of ps in it, they are now message-content filled with message-parts.
  • Something about desu (just for record keeping)

Site Update September 29th, 2016:
  • Fixed TinyComputer's saving and loading (not that anybody was using it anyway lol)
  • Added small protection against overly-fast requests. If you experience any problems where a page tells you you've been requesting too fast, please report it on the bug reports thread.

Is there somewhere you can see all the badges that are possible to get?

No, I'm sorry. The most you can do is look at other people's badges, and some of them have hidden descriptions.

Is there a way to see the hidden descriptions?

Only once you've gotten the badge

Oh I'm trying so hard to find the hidden Easter egg badges but I have no idea how to get them. :/

Site Update October 14th, 2016:
  • Chat has built-in proxy features now. If you're using a VPN or something and can't use websockets, add ?proxy=1 to the chat URL and you'll bypass websockets. I wouldn't suggest doing this for normal chatting however, as it's slow.
  • Added "confetti" background to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Add "confetti" to your special field on userhome to activate it (you can combine confetti and sub:dark, sub:blue, etc. The special field is separated by spaces, i.e. sub:blue confetti)
  • Added "snow" background to enhance winter moods. Add "snow" to your special field (you can mix snow and confetti if you're weird)
  • Added a small API to allow you to create your own special backgrounds.
Note: snow and confetti backgrounds may be too intensive for less powerful computers/tablets.

Site Update 10/17/16:
  • Updated background animation API to make things a bit easier.
  • Updated the Halloween theme to work with the new color system. Also gave it more of an Autumn feel.
If you're in a festive mood, add "halloween" to your special field. As usual, you can mix and match this with other things (like confetti), however I can't guarantee how well it'll work. Also, your user colors will override holiday themes. The website will automatically adopt the halloween theme around... that time. If you DO NOT like that sort of thing, add "noholidays" to your special field. Edit: I just confirmed that sub:dark and halloween do NOT play well together. Sorry!

Boob question, how do you double up the themes, what would the code look like? And can I combine dark and no holiday?
