Is Awesome!I love osu!Express YourselfI installed one too many malicious apps on my tablet. This app is an administrator now and I can't turn it off. Since it's an admin app, I can't disable or uninstall it. It shows frequent ads when I'm in any apps. Here's what I've tried so far:
Disabling admin permssions, it ends up locking my tablet for a few seconds and not disabling.
Booting in safe mode. same occurrence as above.
My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and it's not rooted. Please help. thanks...
EDIT: It's a samsung galaxy tab 4, not 2.

You're going to want to download Samsung's equivalent of ADB: ODIN. Be careful with google results, as most of the top results are fake... Edit: I remove the link I found on Reddit in case I'm wrong.
With ODIN, you can then reboot the tablet to the bootloader, mount the /system or /data partition, and remove the offending APK file.

Usually what I do when I get these things (aside from just uninstalling the app) is google "how to remove *name of virus*" and if you're lucky someone will have made some kind of custom tools. When antivirus fails (and it usually does) you have to do it yourself.
Since you haven't rooted it you can look into reinstalling a stock android image, or using this as an excuse to install a better custom os since the tab only allows up to android 4. Who knows if the virus already tampered with the "this device has been tampered with" switch.

What's wrong with helping users with other things? Is that really a problem?

People are more willing to help with unrelated problems than they are with actual SB problems
Now, maybe this is because the SB questions tend to be... less intelligent... than the unrelated questions,...

I do. I'm taking formatting as a last resort only.

Anyway, if you can access the Play Store, try installing Malwarebytes and scanning. I'm not sure if it will work, but it is worth a try.
