A survival shooter game, in which you much fend of the impending mummy horde, purchasing upgrades to make yourself stronger. The game becomes more difficult the longer it is played, as the mummies become stronger and faster, and spawn at an increasingly faster rate. By killing mummies, you receive money, which can then be used to purchase upgrades to further sharpen your ability to survive.

Instructions:

Controls

Use the circle pad to move your character. Press A to fire semi-automatically. Press Y to fire automatically. Press X to reload manually, otherwise reloading will occur once the magazine is emptied. Use the directional pad to buy some stuff from the shop:
  • UP: Upgrade Magazine
  • DOWN: Upgrade Barrier
  • LEFT: Repair Barrier
  • RIGHT: Upgrade Damage
Press L to pause, and B once paused to unpause.

Notes:

why it's called TLS_102I was planning on making this game more like the flash game The Last Stand, hence TLS. As for the "102" part, that is my tag.
hopes and dreamsI'd like to add some sort of sprinting. Also a background. A different game mode in which there are waves instead of an endless horde. Difficulty levels. Different types of enemies. A well needed title screen.

This is a fun game. You should consider adding more sprites that come in waves that give a short break. Maybe archers of some sort that stop a ways back from the wall and shoot arows. And you have to defeat the skeletons before you can attack the archers.

I'll take your ideas into consideration. Thanks for the feedback!

Decent and Functional. I enjoyed it for what it is. It reminded me that I have a love for tower defense -type games. Personally, I would prefer to see waves of enemies, versus the endless onslaught. The only thing I would recommend is putting a title menu, with "Start" and "Control" options. ---Perhaps, as the other comment suggested, additional enemy types or maybe even support types, such as mechanics that heal the barrier a set amount over time. Enjoyed; Good; +1

Ah, yes, a title screen. Well, that is being developed, and is certainly coming in a "hopeful" next update, and your idea about having waves rather than an endless horde is being looked into to find an easy way to do it. In short, your ideas are really good. I hope to fulfill them!
