Images from computer to SB?

Hi all! I was wondering if there is a way to actually transfer sprites and GRPs and such from the computer to SmileBASIC. I couldn't actually find how to do this anywhere...

There are two methods to do this that I know of:
  • You can use Petit Modem's image to PZG tool and transfer it to your 3DS that way.
  • You can dump a GRP using my SmileBASIC File Manager, edit it with http://www.smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=69, and then restore it. This method requires homebrew but doesn't create any annoying noise.

Hm. What's PZG supposed to be exactly? Also thanks, will try this out :) EDIT: What files do I need for your file manager?

What files do I need for your file manager?
You only need the sbfilemanager folder inside the 3ds folder. If you don't have homebrew already and want it, you can follow this tutorial I made: www.googledrive.com/host/0B4kbPEFlGXXIQ2dNTWtROTNIczQ

Here's a problem I have though, I put the file on my SD Card via SBFILEMANAGER, I edit the file(without removing the headers), and SmileBASIC just won't take my file, why is that?

Ok. Got all the stuff - so basically edit the file in aseprite and save then export back to SB with SBFM? If I created the file with some other paint like tool, can I use that somehow, like by loading/editing/saving the file in aseprite? Files are confusing me >.>

All you have to do is open up your GRP in aseprite and paste the image in, then save and import to SB.

Did you edit the footer? What file type is it? What are the contents?
