It isn't used anymore honestly, there's a lot of meta community things all over it but it used to be where Random tested new features for the site.
The new SBS Random's working on isn't ready to do anything yet but it's completely different from what you see on Dev.
TL;DR nothing secret, not used, not SBS 2.0
